CLEANING HOUSE
We will be cleaning up the website and switching up the leadership.  The initial proposal of heroes + sidekicks has not worked and we admit this. 

About the website, it will be wiped clean.  The current history is also going to be wiped out and the archives emptied.  If you have notes or stories you wish to preserve please take them from here by Monday March 21st.  After that the site will go in for maintenance and be scrubbed clean.
Such as it is, I and Justice Shield will be taking more secondary roles within the team. 

I would like to welcome back at this time Lady America who is taking over as leader full-time.  We three are working toward a more tightly knit team while keeping up with our Gold/Silver Age theme with modern values.

Ranks are being re-instated (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Sentinel) and people will be rewarded accordingly.  We plan on having upcoming elections and every six months there after. 

Rules for naming conventions will be enforced.  You must have a heroic name, no exclamations at the beginning or end, no / within, or numbers substituting for letters. Possible exception are robots and will be handled on a case by case basis.  Older members will be grandfathered in.

Please bear with us in this time of transition.  We are trying to get this team back on track and back to being a part of the CoH community.

We are continuing the new concept for the team.  Basically what is happening is this.  It was proposed by Saedor (and I fully support the idea) is to go back to the roots of the team in a classic style.  You, the player, make a golden age style hero (1940-45 style character).

In the Golden Age of Comics it was very common for the hero to have a partner or sidekick. So in sticking with the concept you will also partner to another player's hero as their partner/sidekick. You will level pact with them inside the game.

I am also taking suggestions for a full team meeting time so we all can get to know each other and the new characters.  Please PM my box here on the GP site. 

Speaking of GP I will have the site paid for within the coming months so we may go back to using the full forums.  But until that time please use GP Mail to contact either myself or Saedor with any questions. 

I appreciate everyone helping out as much as they can and if you have any ideas for AE missions, background stories or just want to talk to me please feel free to let me know here or in the game.

A new concept and direction for the team is being worked on.  Please post and weigh in on it over in the USA State of the SG forum.  We would like to implement this as soon as we can so we can start RPing once again.  A meeting will be called soon so keep your eyes peeled!

The members have spoken and we have some winners.   Congratulations to Saedor and Silver-Dragon for winning the officer election poll. 

For the reworked background poll the result was to have an old enemy raise their head in modern times.  Sounds rather ominous doesn't it?  Well it is.  A certain old member has himself in hot water and its up to the team to help him out.  Will the USofA reform after this adventure?  Find out over in the forums where we are discussing it.

USofA will be re-adding everyone in game on August 8th.  Please let @KidA/@Gaia1 know that you wish to be added onto the roster based on your origin background.  I will attempt to be on most of the day to see this through.

Also the door is open for officer elections.  There are two spots up for grabs.  If you wish to be in the election please put a note down in the OOC section of this site.  Elections will take place on the 11th of August. A poll will be put up on this site with the names of those interested in running for office.  Please get your name and why you wish to be an officer posted.

A roster archives section has been added to the USofA forums.  It is for members who have retired or have left the team but their biography remains on the site.

Any current team members who have not put in a biography in the Roster section please do so.  We all like to know where we come from and what are back history is.  Thanks!

New Additons to the Rules of the Road.

Hello everyone.  I think you will like the new additions to how our supergroup is being run.  If you see a potential person for a place in our organization let them know.  Make sure they fill out an application and give a shout over the RFA channel in game to see about doing an interview.

Speaking of interviews. . .Anyone in a Sentinel rank (urban, global, cosmic/dimensional, or Councilor) may conduct interviews and invite in as a Sentinel Recruit.  As long as there is an application first.  We are an RP team so lets be sure to do the interview in character.  To get a new recruit on the RFA channel you will need to let a Councilor or former Gold Sentinel know.

We are making a conscious effort to have everyone be a participant in this team and have a say in how things are handled.--Mac

Log-in requirements for continued membership

We are altering the period for characters to log in to avoid getting booted from the group from 30 to 20 days. That means if a character who has not notified us of a leave of absence has not logged on for 20 days, that character will be removed from the USA. There will be a brief grace period for characters who haven't logged in for over 20 days but less than 30.
